The Medium is the Message

Media communications is the voice of the millennium. There's no room for doubt when you see its proliferation informing every part of our lives. No longer limited to print, radio and television, today's technology media can quite literally be morphed into any shape and play virtually any role. Combined with the limitless possibilities of the internet, every good idea can benefit from open access.
Remember when shopping was that well-deserved break from the daily stresses of work, both in and out of the house? Nowadays, it has been reduced to a routine: Just another stressful leg of your day spent surveying the same stores, especially when you travel to a shopping mall that is out of your way.
Are stricter regulations and more direct involvement by government really the solution to a healthy economy? At a time when security concerns trump free market values, some people may argue it's better to sideline a struggling economy for the sake of 'homeland security.'
It's hard to get people excited about the economy these days. Everyone is worried about which sure thing will come tumbling down next as the consequences of the American sub-prime mortgage crisis continue to escalate. The aftershocks have left the biggest and most powerful North American financial institutions desperately bidding for time and loans in the millions. Stock exchange capitals of the world have slowed down to a cautionary pace as investors grow more reluctant to put money into a frail economy.
